This is one of the biggest reasons why I faded - once I learned what JW's really taught about 1975. So many of us who came in to this religion later (after 1975) were trained how to answer this by simply suggesting that it was never taught by the leaders, as though the rank and file came up with this on their own and they were only serving a "date". Once I learned the real truth (it's found in their literature and captured on some audio/video recordings of their conventions), I soon realized that JW's errors are covered up by spinning the real truth - they are experts at spin! They are as bad as a crooked politian. Shame on them and all you JW's who continue to spin the real truth of 1975 and all the other false dates and doctrines - you have no conscience.
