 I love music, it has literally helped me through some of the darkest spots of my life... Sometimes the music helps me to make it through, other times, the lyrics are so inspirational. As if I can't give up. The message is, don't give up!
Sometimes, the pain of having to leave JWs, or while in of learning of the lies and changes in teachings just suck the life right out of you. It's those times that when you want to give up the most that you absolutely can't give up. When you feel like letting go, when you need to squeeze the hardest. I thus offer what has helped me through times like that.... Not the entire song, just certain lyrics from certain songs, in no particular order. It is my hope that these lyrics will communicate to you what they did to me; life is a marathon, not a sprint.
