April 1963

My brother and I in April of 1963 in our meeting get ups. My action of rebellion was buckling my belt on the side.  I'm on the left. I was 18. We were standing in front of my BIG rebellion.

That's a 1948 Harley Hardtail 74 cubic inch Pan Head. I parked it a half block from the Hall and rolled my leather jacket into the side bag. I'm sure the neighbors loved me cranking that up at 10:00 PM after the meetings.

Not much was said to me about the bike. Lots more was said when I bought a black 1959 Cadillac when I was 21 in 1965.
